Hello; my name is Leon Wickenkamp. Welcome to the home of Wickenkamp Live Trap Manufacturing, founded in 1980 by my dad Floyd Wickenkamp. The business was established due to a need for a better live trap.

I was just 13 years old when my cousins made a visit during the Summer.  They had a live trap and were catching raccoon in their sweet corn patch.  I was excited and wanted to give it a try myself.  My cousins and I headed to Dad's workshop and found some wire to build a trap.  After a few hours of trying to form a cage, my dad came along and helped.  A few hours of head scratching later, Dad came up with a design.  Within a couple of days, we had our own trap to try out.

The morning after setting up our new trap in the sweet corn patch, we woke up early and anxiously hurried out to check the trap.  There, inside our own home-made trap, was a large raccoon.  We reset the trap and continued to catch 3 raccoons over the next 5 days.  I was hooked!  That Fall, trapping season found my dad and I using several different trap designs, some of which Dad and I made and others that we purchased from various manufacturers.  After the season ended, we evaluated the results and continued working on building a better live trap.

Over the next several years, through trial and error, we perfected what we have today - The Wickenkamp Live Trap.  "Designed and built by trappers, for trappers."

The Wickenkamp Live Trap is preferred by professional trappers who depend on quality and durability in their equipment.  As always, Wickenkamp products are satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.

Thanks for looking and I hope that you will consider Wickenkamp Live Trap Products for your next purchase.
